Kenworth of Pennsylvania Donates Cummins X15 Engine Core To Berks Career & Technology Center

Shartlesville, PA

On October 15, 2024, Kenworth of Pennsylvania was proud to visit the Berks Career & Technology Center (BCTC) to donate a Cummins X15 engine core to its diesel technology program. By providing the students with this powerful tool, we hope to help them gain invaluable, hands-on experience as they prepare for successful careers in the trucking and transportation sectors.

“We in diesel technology and at BCTC want to thank (Kenworth of Pennsylvania) for the generous donation of the 2022 X15 Cummins engine,” said Kevin Heimbach, Diesel Technology Instructor. “This donation will help my students learn more about a current engine available in the newest of trucks. We could not keep doing what we do here without the support and donations from our local OAC (Occupational Advisory Committee) members.”

At Kenworth of Pennsylvania, we are deeply committed to giving back to our community. Supporting education and fostering the next generation of skilled professionals is at the heart of what we do, and we are proud to contribute to these students’ journeys toward bright and promising futures.
